My daughter hates having her hair in pony tails. It's now, long enough that it's starting to look messy. I may have to cut it soon. I'm bummed that I can't put up her hair but I like little girls in shorter hair too.

We've kept DD's hair shoulder length or longer. If she wanted it short, I would definitely let her, but I have horrible memories of my mom getting my hair cut short and permed when I was young and overseas for vacation. I came back with a horrible fobby short perm and my neighbors mistook me for my brother. To add insult to injury, I had to start school and take school pictures a few weeks later.

My DD has short wispy hair. She has my baby hair so it won't fill out and thicken up until she's at least 3-4 years old.
