Tonight we caught a little lizard and brought him in the house in a jar for her to see. She loved looking at him through the plastic but didn't watch to touch him. We did the same when we dug up some worms and a garden snake. I try not to keep anything overnight but it's fun to keep for a little while.

I remember as a kid my mom let us paint on the shell of a turtle with nail polish to see if it would return. Probably not a great idea but I remember the fun of exploring wild animals.
