I'm thinking about it because my plan is eligible and my current iphone 4 has issues....super cracked screen and I can't hear anything!

Yep! We pre-ordered the gold 64gb 6 plus for me as I'm a wackadoo that likes the bigger model (I also never put my phone in my pocket). We ordered the 64gb 6 for DH.
The *rush* for us was that T-mobile is currently paying ETF for switching over. We don't know how long they'll offer that deal, and knew we wanted to switch back to iphones from Android. So, it made sense for us to do it now while they're still running the promotion.

Probably not until right before the next release. I recently upgraded to the 5S and got it for cheap!

Contract is up in Nov, I'll see if Verizon is still offering it for free w/ a 2 yr renewal then... But I had wanted to leave Verizon and go on a cheaper plan, so we shall see. I'm over the need to get the newest phone!

Probably not. I might be due for an upgrade, not sure, but I'm ok with my 5. My husband has my old 4, though, and he really wants to upgrade. I just don't know if we can afford it, though.

Haha, no! I used to get every new iPhone when they came out, but I am using a refurbished 4 and honestly, it's perfectly fine. So if anything, I would upgrade to another refurb in the 5.

Nope, I'm actually getting ready to cancel my personal phone and only use my work iphone. They are both 5s.

DH wanted it for his next upgrade (end of November) but not sure if he still will with the size. Frustrating, because he used his upgrade for me to get me the 5s - but I would kill for the extra storage!! He uses it for phone calls, texts and fantasy football.

I just got an iPhone for the first time a year ago. I don't really get rushing out for a new one? I wish phones were built to last more than a couple years.

I haven't decided. I have a 4S, and the only issue I have is that I am constantly bumping up against the 32MB. I was planning on getting the 6, but I think I'm going to wait and see what the reviews are. Besides, I am currently with Verizon, and am considering switching to DH's plan with AT&T. DH thinks I should order right away, but if I don't get it for a month or two, it's not the end of the world.

I just preordered a gold 64g iPhone 6! My 4s has served me well for 2.5 years but it's running really slow and I'm constantly out of storage. Plus I think the camera in the newer models is significantly better. I can't wait!

Preordered the 64g iphone 6 (gray), I traded in my iphone 4s and got $200 for it through verizon. I'm sad I'm not on my unlimited plan anymore but it was bound to happen.

I am never due for an upgrade! I feel like when my upgrade is coming up they change everything and it's always 6 months away!

@sorrycharlie: he can ask if they can bump up his upgrade to this month, its only 2 months, they will usually do that. Then you can give him your 5 and you take the 6. win win in my book

DH, BIL and SIL and I are on the same Verizon family plan together and are paying way too much. We're thinking about getting the 6 as we switch over to T-Mobile, probably after the frenzy dies down a bit. I'm not huge on upgrading because my 5s is way awesomer than I need it to be, but hey, if it doesn't cost me anything, I'll take a 6! Sigh, I love Apple.

Nope, just for DH. He is over due, still has a 3. Waiting till next month to buy it though since then work will cover a part of it. He doesn't want the plus since it is so big and won't fit in his pocket.
