Overalls are back!

Growing up I wore overalls all the time! I remember my last pair was from Gap and I was in the 5th grade, so early 90's!
I will so wear them again in the updated style! I love #5 but not a fan of short overalls.

I used to love overalls as a kid! I don't think I can pull them off now though, lol. I think I would look goofy, instead of cute.

Nope. Even updated they look weird to me. Plus in middle school I wore them all the time and on more than one occasion the straps fell in the toilet when I was in the bathroom. Oh, the middle school embarrassment!

i think overalls are adorable on babies and i totally rocked them in middle school- with just one strap done of course =P but i don't see myself ever wearing them again no matter how in they become... maybe the shorts ones, but even those i think i'm 99% sure i won't wear them again.

No way, some trends are best avoided. Skinny jeans and coveralls are not for me. Other people can rock them, just not me.

@lemondrop: Agreed. I'm with you, coveralls & skinny jeans are a train wreck on me.
Back was coveralls were in before I tried on a pair & was literally horrified by what I saw. I seriously looked like a hillbilly. I won't be trying them again.

This is soooo weird...I dreamed last night that everyone was wearing overalls because it was the hottest new trend.
I had no idea that it was really a trend.
But, no, I won't be wearing them. I'm too short for them.

I wore them as a kid, and I think only kids can pull it off. As a pregnant adult, I would look silly. Even without the big belly, I won't be able to pull it off without looking very young.

I agree they look good on kids, but my son hates them and tugs at them until we take them off. Plus my husband, who has zero appreciation for trends or cure baby clothes makes fun of how he looks. He has called our boy "a tiny farmer" when I had him in overalls.

I think they're cute for the right frame. @regberadaisy you have a petite frame so they would work well on you I think! Cuffed with a flat or heel would be adorable!
But I'm a little too curvy - if I lost 20-30 lbs I might be able to pull it off. But I don't have the motivation/resolve to do that haha. I'm at a healthy (curvy) weight right now.
So I said "maybeee" because I'm not opposed to the trend, but I wouldn't be able to pull it off.

hahah my first instinct is nooooo! but i felt the same way about leggings and skinny jeans, and have had to eat my words (happily!), so, we'll see!!!!
