I went to Target yesterday and spent some play money on a few cute things for M. She doesn't have any dressyish shoes so I got her these mouse shoes, plus this shirt she will wear either with black leggings or black pants, depending on how big it is on her (2T).
I like that they can be dressed up or worn on any regular day, too.

I got her a Thanksgiving dress from Carters. She wore it to day care lunch last week, even though she didn't eat the lunch. She will wear her Thanksgiving onesie in the car tomorrow and I will change her once we get there into the dress.

I'm putting her in her christening "after party" dres (didn't want to leave her in the fancy gown all afternoon). She's going to outgrow it soon so may as well get one more wear. I also have a My First Thanksgiving onesie handed down from my nephew but it's kind of boyish. Even putting ruffle butt jeggings with it she'll still look like a boy but whatever.

I made her a shirt. I traced her hand onto felt and made a turkey with her handprints. With that she will wear a pumpkin tutu and a turkey hair clip my mum made her. Very DIY this year

It's not specifically for Thanksgiving but she'll be wearing a jersey dress she hasn't worn yet. I may just put leggings underneath since that will probably be more comfy.

I made a tutu, and I'm appliqueing a turkey on a white shirt for her. DH thinks I've gone bonkers, but I know I'd be bummed if I didn't do it
Plus, she can play dress up with the tutu in a year or so...

@mediagirl - I saw that shirt and almost bought it for DD, but I bought the black and white polka dotted sweater instead. Then I found a dress in her closet that was a Christmas gift last year that she's never worn and will probably outgrow soon, so I feel like I should put her in that. We'll see. Maybe she'll even do an outfit change mid-day!

We've never been big on dressing up for holidays though. We just stay home, I'm usually in sweats!!

@mediagirl: The only problem is it's short sleeve because last year it was 75 on Thanksgiving. Tomorrow's high is 43 degrees!! What gives weather gods??
