Do you use a different face cream for the colder months?
In the summer/spring I like to use a thin cream. But in the winter I like a thicker cream like Ponds. But I'm looking for something different.
What kind of face cream do you use for the colder months?

I use Kiehl's ultra facial cream in the winter and ultra facial lotion in the summer. It makes a big difference for me, I'm about to switch to the cream now that my skin is definately getting more dry and flakey these past few weeks.

I thought I needed to switch, but my derm recommended I use the same lotion all year round and add a more intense sunscreen in the summer.

@autumnlove: @looch: There is also a CeraVe Cream, too (it comes in a big tub and feels heavier than the lotion).

When I remember to use face cream, it's the same one all year round. But it never really gets cold here...

I just switched over to Kate Somerville Goat's milk cream. In summer, I use the same brand's Nourish Daily moisturizer. Basically, all my face products come from Kate Somerville. They make great sunblock too that doesn't smell and absorbs great so you can wear it under your foundation.

I switch between kiehl's rosa artica and la mer. I'd use la mer exclusively if it weren't so pricey. The kiehl's works well in the cold though. It's a close second.

I use Cetaphil moisturizer year round, but I switch too their heavier moisturizer in the winter. I get really dry skin.

Nothing in summer, moisturizer in winter. CeraVe is nice, too, but I like this... from Skin Medica (now that I'm in a dermatology office I'm learning more about skincare) http://www.skinmedica.com/skin-care-products/rejuvenative-moisturizer

@locavore_mama: rosa artica is suppose to "heal"......I've used both and prefer the rosa. It's really thick and absorbs well. I remember thinking the ultra sat on my skin.
