Hellobee Boards

We use a Merino Kids wool one. It's really thin, but seems to keep her toasty warm. It's made to fit sizes 0-2 years old and my only complaint is that it's so long she kind of gets tangled up in it since she moves soooo much in her sleep. She doesn't seem at all bothered by it though.

They're expensive - I wouldn't have spent the money on one myself - but I love it. Cosy without overheating and as an added bonus LO doesn't jam her legs through the crib slats when she's wearing it.

@oliviaoblivia: baby deedee here but poly filling in between cotton. If you know anyone or sew yourself there are free patterns out there if you wanted to upcycle wool!

@oliviaoblivia: DS is also a very active sleeper but he hasn't gotten tangled yet (hopefully never!)

we have a merino kids one that i haven't really used yet. i got it for charlie but he stopped using sleep sacks shortly afterwards, so i will have to try it on olive. like others say, it is super duper long!

we had a thick grobag, i think the 2.5 tog one, but it felt pretty thick to roll around in. so far we've just been using halo fleece sleep sacks and turning up the heat because i don't like being cold.

We use the same (fleece) sleep sacks for all seasons. In winter, the kids just switch to a long sleeved onesie and fleece jams inside the sack.
