I'm wondering if you guys have any favorites for keeping baby warm in the Ergo! He's too big for me to zip up in my coat now. 
I'm open to the idea of sewing one myself too if anyone knows of a pattern! (never sewn anything before, so clearly I'm insane.)

@knittylady: We put E in a little snowsuit, then wrap him in a blanket I knitted. Over that, I sewed a big rectangle (double layer: flannel and a sweatshirt material) with a big loop for the neck on one end. I plan on making a waist strap for the bottom with adjustable Velcro, but haven't gotten around to it yet!

We put DS in a warm/fleece bunting/suit and put gloves and an extra hat on him. He's also still small enough to fit inside the infant insert and that thing is super warm!

We used it when it was SUPER cold to look at zoo lights. She also had a hat and mittens and a coat on and was toasty warm against me.

We have a rosk cover, got it on amazon. It ties to the carrier ( or car seat or stroller). It has a fleece side and an outer shell that is waterproof. I love it and use it with the stroller and ergo
