Like, I have some major side eye for this lady who decided to take a road trip alone while 9 months pregnant with her fourth kid and ALSO neglect her gas tank and ALSO take some remote shortcut. That said, if you found yourself in this situation, what would you do?? I mean, I guess I would also start a quarter-acre fire?

Sadly, I read elsewhere that she's had difficulty with custody of her other children due to some substance abuse issues.
Also, why didn't she just get back in the car? That would have presumably protected them a bit from the elements.

@hotchildinthecity: I think she gave birth outside, and then got back into her car!

The story says she was 9 months pregnant and then says the baby was born premature due to gastric bypass surgery. Something isn't adding up.

This story is bizarre. And as others have said there are for sure some things that don't match up

There are definitely some oddities in the story. Doesn't add up to truly stranded/accidental to me.

Also, if "meat bees" are after your baby and placenta.. Cut the cord and leave the placenta! Not sure if the above article talks about that situation but another one I read did.

This is nuts. Also, the mom is saying she was taking a shortcut to her mothers and that's when she got lost where the mother (grandmother) said she was heading home. I doubt she got lost going to her mothers. The whole thing is weird.
