I am hosting a book shower for a neighbor and I need to include the following information. I can't think of what to write!
**some people don't know her/that she is pregnant so I have to include something about the fact that it's for the 2100 block
Bring a children's book
Dessert and wine
It doesn't need to be cute I just can't think of how to say "hey someone on our block is pregnant, let's get together and chat over dessert and wine, bring a book!"

@Cole: That's pretty great wording actually! I'd just dress it up a bit more and I think it's good to go:
THE STORK IS COMING TO 2100 BLOCK! One of our neighbors is pregnant. 
Let's get together and chat over dessert and wine. I'll provide the dessert and wine; if you could bring a children's book for the mom-to-be, that would be great! Or if not, we'd love to say hi anyway - please drop by [address/date/time info here].
