I am having a serious moment of mom guilt/pity party over here and I need some reassurance.

I'm feeling extremely guilty about how my having to work affects LO's schedule. I went back to work at 5 weeks, so she really hasn't had a semblance of a schedule her entire life.

I leave for work before DH does. When he leaves, he has to wake LO up from her nap to get her to the sitter on time. She usually hasn't been napping for long at this point. This tends to throw off her feeding schedule a bit, too. Then, when I get off work and pick her up from the sitter's, I have to wake her up from her evening nap.

I feel like SAHMs get to let their babies sleep as long as they please, which (in my mind) makes for happier babies and a less stressful environment. I feel guilty and all-around crappy for the fact she has to constantly get woken up in order for me to keep up my work schedule. She is only four months old.

If you WOH FT, does/did it affect your young infant's schedule? Do you have guilt about it? Any tips?
