I'm a little surprised there is no board for "sports" but I guess that makes sense at the same time.
Anyone watching the world series now?
I'm from the bay area... so of course we are because the SF Giants are in it.

@Raindrop: haha! We are big cardinals baseball fans and I probably wouldn't bother when the world series if the royals weren't in it...but I gotta see what happens! Otherwise, Dh likes football but I don't care about anything else. Game 7 is big tho!

I was definitely rooting for the Royals last night! So sad that we lost at home, but it has been a CRAZY couple weeks in KC! The whole city has been so excited and happy - it's been lots of fun.

I'm kind of watching it. My husband is a SF fan so it's always on and I just kind of end up watching it.

So, dh is a HUGE baseball fan but barely watched this year, he's a Mets fan and they were so bad that it was too heartbreaking! I don't think he even watched the game though he might have after I went to sleep

We watched every game! I was disappointed that SF won...I get tired of seeing the same teams win every year and always root for the underdog unless my team is in it! Which...let's face it, the Phillies are a far cry away from 2008

We are HUGE Giants fans! The bay area is just buzzing today. 3 wins in 5 seasons is incredible.

@swurlygurl: & @blackbird: I know! I was so sad to see them lose! Prior to their 2008 win, the Phils hadn't won a World Series since 1980. And the city of Philadelphia hadn't won any championships in ANY major sport since 1983!
