Was there ever mention of a clubfoot when she was little? Not that it looks like that exactly, but curious. That might be considered intoeing. I work with pediatrics and I see this all day, every day in my clinic. It is nothing serious, but you should have her pediatrician refer you to a pediatric orthopedic doctor to monitor how she walks and how her foot turns in, especially with tripping and walking. Often times, they grow out of it but sometimes they don't and may eventually need some kind of treatment, like orthotics or surgery (not to freak you out!).

My feet did this when I was little and I would always walk crooked. The doctor suggested my mom try putting me on roller skates to avoid gettIng special shoes with braces (I don't know if they do this anymore) and that's how I started ice skating. Around 2 I think. Obviously this is not medical advice...I think I likely just grew out of it. Not the ice skating though

In any event, I definitely don't think you're crazy.

@matador84: I see it so much that it's "normal" in my world. It could be independently her foot turning in or it could be from her hips causing her leg/foot to do that. Worth it to have her pediatrician take a peek.

@matador84: My dd was a little bow legged (I don't know if that's the same thing?) and I was told she would outgrow it by/around 3. She's 4 now and now that I read this it occurs to me that she actually has gotten much better between 3.5-4+. Can't hurt to bring it up. Our pediatrician has them walk for her down the hall and back during the physical.
