I'd be mostly embarrassed because the previous owners were huge into landscaping and did all these beautiful flower beds all around the house that we totally haven't maintained! They'd probably be pretty dismayed to see the state of their landscaping, haha.
Also - I'd pretend I'm not home if they showed up - I wouldn't want to actually talk to them or anything!

@Adira: We have the same issue! haha. Except they planted ivy and yuccas... which are impossible to get rid of and spread like crazy... so screw them.

@loveisstrange: hahaha, yeah, our owners planted some sort of vine that was going up the side of our house. It was pretty, but attracted rodents and bugs, so we got rid of it!

@Adira: HAHA +1...our previous owner worked in landscaping..and we have killed 2 of his bushes
But overall I wouldn't be weirded out, they were nice people. We became friends with neighbors who are their best friends, so we have mutual acquaintances now, so I'm sure they have seen the house!

@LuLu Mom: @Adira: @loveisstrange: the precious owner of our house was head of the parks department!! So everything is beautiful, and we don't even own shears. Oops! We've killed more than one plant. Oh well...they were going to meet us at the walk through to tell us what to do with the yard and didn't show up. We have no idea what's what!
