We went to Barcelona for our honeymoon and had an amazing time there. We saw a lot of architecture, which I had never really experienced before. I also loved the city, and could totally see us living there. The people weren't that nice, but maybe we caught a bad batch of locals.
Anyway I would love to go there again! It would be so fun to go back and stay at the same hotel and in the same room... maybe for our 10 year anniversary.

Yes! We plan to go at 7 or 10 years. We were together for 7 years when we got married, so we think it would be cool to go for our 7th wedding anniversary if we can afford it. If not, then we will go for our 10 year anniversary.
Eta: we went to St. Lucia.

Yes! We went to Maui. Cliché but amazing. There's no way we can afford it for our 5th anniversary (next year), but maybe for our 10th. The kids will be 7 at that point, so I can totally envision renting our old condo and spending a week together.

We went on a 10 day Mediterranean cruise for $600 each (excluding airfare). You can't beat that! I wanted to see so much more of the cities we visited (you only get one day per port). I'd love to go back to Rome, Venice, Istanbul and Florence. The cruise made travelling so easy (just get back on the boat, the food is included in the price, etc.) that it would be tempting to do something similar again, and maybe just stay an extra day or two in a hotel. But I can't imagine leaving LO for that amount of time, and by the time she'd be old enough for me to feel comfortable bringing her, I'll be pregnant again.

Definitely not, simply because we didn't go on a honeymoon. We got married a couple months out of college and literally didn't have two dimes to rub together so a honeymoon wasn't an option. It's actually one of our biggest regrets.

Heck yea. We went to japan and Hawaii and it was the perfect balance of city + beach.
Love Barcelona! I studied abroad there for a summer so it will always be one of my favorite cities ever. I really want to go to Europe with DH someday!

Yes! We stayed at la residencia in Mallorca- best resort and experience we have ever had. Incredible! Then went to San sebastian and ate at so many times incredible restaurants. Would go back in a heartbeat!

Maybe. We went to Disneyworld. It was fun, but we live on the west coast, so I found it a little bit far to travel when Disneyland is pretty awesome and so much closer. But maybe if we ever lived on that side of the country or had longer to travel and happened to be the area again. Like, say an add on to a Caribbean vacation or something.

Nooo!!! Our honeymoon was a disaster! We went to the Domican Republic in June. When it wasn't raining, we went to the beach where DH lost his ring in the ocean and I had severe food poisoning later that day and was violently ill for the remainder of the trip (4 days, 6 total). The resort we went to was so bad...so, so bad. Moldy, infested with bugs, surrounded by extreme poverty so we felt like jerks who should have been doing some good around there instead of vacationing.
We'd love to have a redo for our 10th anniversary though. Our original plan was a cruise through Bora Bora but airfare was way to expensive (so we chose the DR). Maybe we can afford it by then.

Yes i would love to do Paris again. I probably would go to less museums and do more wandering. We felt like there were so many interesting things to see on the museum pass we spent a lot of time in them.

I'd go on our pre-wedding moon (our honeymoon a few weeks before our wedding) again in a second! Two weeks in the adventure capital of the world - the South Island of New Zealand. We went hiking, climbed a glacier, went whitewater rafting, did some blackwater rafting (rafting in a cave), kayaked through the fjords, and just had an amazing time! Would love to go back...
Our post-wedding honeymoon was with our overseas family and friends on a week long trip to Yellowstone, which was also awesome, but I consider NZ our true honeymoon.

No! We went on a carnival cruise, and it was boring with nasty food. We did a re-do for our 2nd anniversary, and chose a newer Norwegian ship this time. Still boring, still nasty food. We think we're done with cruises for a long long while! We loved visiting St. Thomas, and are saving for a vacation at a resort for our 5th anniversary. I lived in Germany for 3 years, and visited Prague, Italy, Czech Republic, and Holland. I'd love to take DH on a European tour, and maybe even to my old neighborhood if it still exists!

Yes, we went to Yosemite and San Francisco. I would probably skip San Fran next time and spend more time at Yosemite. DH and I aren't really big city people.

We already have, 4 times We went back to the same resort almost 2 years after our honeymoon (brought our friends) and then we've been back to the same town (Playa del Carmen, Mexico) every year since.

We had an amazing honeymoon in Curaçao. The resort was beautiful and the snorkeling/scuba diving was amazing. I'd love to go back, but probably will not because there are so many other places we'd like to visit!

No, we'd go somewhere else. We chose a place close to home (Monaco and France) but we didn't get to spend a lot of time there because we had to travel for the wedding.
I wanted to go to Bora Bora, but as it was I was taking off 13 days and couldn't take more.

We actually have been back! We went to an all-inclusive in Playa Del Carmen that cost a fortune, but we had our own personal butler that brought me mimosas every morning on the balcony. It was pure heaven after the stress of a wedding.
We went back for our babymoon last year. Still lovely.

Yes!! We went to Bali and it was amazing. We talk about going back for our ten year anniversary. We would probably add on a second destination in the area to see something new while we are already on the other side of the world.

Absolutely! We went to an all-inclusive resort in the Mayan Riviera. It was one of the best trips I've ever done. It's rare that I can get my husband to turn off his work cell phone and truly relax. It was also the first week-long vacation he'd taken as an adult. (He's a bit of a workaholic.) We plan to go back, it's just a matter of when.

In a heartbeat! Well, the first part off our honeymoon anyway. We went to this amazing resort in Mexico. The second leg of our trip was a cruise and I'd choose a different boat.

I love love loved our hotel (Viceroy Sugar Beach in St. Lucia, but we went when it was Jalousie Plantation) we had our own villa with our own private plunge pool set up in the rainforest overlooking the ocean. I didn't love the island though. It was beautiful but there wasn't a ton to do and the water wasn't that crystal clear blue that you imagine in the Caribbean. So, I would much rather experience somewhere new!

we didn't really go on a honeymoon but we had a destination wedding in Dominican... we looooved it but it wasn't relaxing AT ALL. we had about 80 guests so i was constantly running around trying to spend time with everyone. after the guests left, we stayed for an extra three days. we literally slept THE WHOLE TIME. my DH isn't much of a traveller but that trip made him really excited to go away again so that was great. we would go back to that resort for sure on an anniversary or something. we're going on a babymoon in January and I can't wait!!!

Sort of…..we went on a 2 week European honeymoon cruise to Russia, Estonia, Germany, Sweden, Denmark, Finland and The Netherlands and while I wouldn’t really want to go on that exact same cruise again (too many other awesome places to see!), I wouldn’t mind going back to some of the countries we visited. We loved Estonia and Finland especially. That was sort of the beauty of a cruise like that: see a bunch of places and then find which ones you have an interest in going back to, vs. the ones you have no interest in going back to.
