If there was a meet up fairly close to you would you go to a Hellobee Meetup?
Personally for me, I would be open to meeting someone one on one and then if I felt comfortable with that I would be open to meeting more people in a group setting. I'm kind of a shy introverted person so meeting a lot of new people at once is not my cup of tea!

When we were traveling last summer I had the pleasure of meeting 3 lovely ladies and their LOs! I would love to meet more bees, but no one lives close to me. I'm fairly outgoing so I like group meet ups.

Yes! I met some great friends through the meet ups. There aren't many bees where I live now though.

I've been to a bunch and arranged many and meet some of my closest friends at HB meetups.
There have been some flaky "I'll definitely be there" no shows at the past few meet ups so I don't put in any effort any more.

I would love to go to one! I feel like when I was a lurker bee before joining there were a bunch in MA - but I haven't seen one in a long time.

I felt weird going when I was *only* pregnant. I would definitely go now that LO is born and I'm home on mat leave.

I would. I have some great mom friends, but I often feel like the odd one out because I work PT and don't SAH ft like them.

I've been to a couple. I remember there was one when DS was a few days old and that just wasn't going to work. I remember people saying "don't worry, we'll have another" but there wasn't another one!

@AprilFool: It's a shame we didn't connect on here earlier as we lived in Brisbane until DD1 was 1 (and then moved to Darwin, ugh, and now the UK). Would have been fun to meet up at Southbank or somewhere around there!
@travelgirl1: I know you've just come back to the UK but whereabouts are you? I know there are at least four of us here (probably more but just the four I can think of off the top of my head) but we're spread out all over the place unfortunately...

@JoJoGirl: I'll definitely be looking for stuff to do on leave. I'll have 6 weeks on my own with just me and DD. DH will be back to work and DS will be in daycare. We could try to do a late Saturday afternoon Boston area one too.

@JoJoGirl: Oh no, I'll have 12 this time (only 8 full weeks last time). But the first 6 DH will be on leave too. Of course I can still do stuff if he's home too, I just won't feel as completely bored and needing to find things to do, lol.

@JoJoGirl: Actually I was wrong, he's taking 5. He gets 4 for paternity leave and he'll take 1 vacation. He was originally going to do 2 vacation weeks because he thought he was going to get the week between Christmas and New Year's for free, but that's up in the air due to an acquisition. </threadjack

I would love to go to one. I'm not sure how many bees live in the Phoenix area tho... perhaps the socal bees will plan one and I can go visit family and make the meetups

I would love to go to one, too. I know there have been Toronto meet ups, but we go there so infrequently, and I hate the traffic. I don't know any bees that live in Eastern ON or Western QC, tho.

I've been to one and it was a lot of fun! I met a good friend there. I also met up with another bee at an unrelated Mom's group in our town.

I would go. Based on another thread it looks like there are quite a few ATL area bees. I don't think there's a strong presence in South Florida.
