We have fooled around in front of LO when she was awake, but she was only 3 and 4 weeks old when it happened, and we didn't do the "full deed."

I am sure the 15 month old had no idea what was going on, but I would feel uncomfortable with it personally.

No way. I feel like at 11 months she understands a lot, and that's just yucky. Plus, if we're all in the same room my lo is interacting with us. She'd never just sit there quietly

I wouldn't at that age, but would maybe when they're an infant... but most likely not at all~

I wouldn't do it, but good Lord - pedophilia? People can be so mean and judgey.

If my son was awake there would be no way. My 16 month old understands plenty even if he wouldn't understand exactly what we were doing.

Awake?!? Oh God no. No no no. LO is 14 months old, and when he slept in our room (till he was 3 months old) we did it in the same room all the time, but I think (assume?) he was asleep- at that age, it's not like he could sit up and look over at us, so even if he was awake, he'd have had no idea what was going on. Now LO sleeps in his own room, and we catch sexy time when he's napping or down for the night. Now, he's 14 months, and while I would consider doing it in the middle of the night if we were all traveling and sharing a hotel room or something (and there was a LOT of white noise, and there was no chance he could see what was going on from the crib or playpen), I can't imagine doing in front of his open eyes. I don't actually think HE would be scarred long-term, he'd just be pissed that we weren't interacting with him, and I would be scarred long-term by the idea of him looking at us doing it.

I wouldn't, only because it would be a mood-killer. We can't even get it on with our dogs in the same room.

I couldn't imagine doing this, but I'm not going to go so far as to accuse somebody else of pedophilia and molestation. That's just sick.

But it's so funny that @Rachel and @highwire brought up their dogs. Our dog also gets so upset, if we can get her off the bed we'll do it but she just lays at the foot of the bed and then the minute we're done, she jumps right back on. This includes any time spent after the deed on um, me. It's like she knows when everything is finished!

Maybe if he was asleep, but I agree above- it's hard enough to get in the mood with the dog in the room, so I doubt it.

We wouldn't ever if DD was awake

We did fool around (but didn't DTD) while lo slept in his bed in our room, but only from 6weeks-3 mos, now he's in his room. I wouldn't do it if he was awake even as an infant.

It just seems wrong to me.
