He likes shopping, and is good at helping me pick out things (or encouraging me to splurge), so I would definitely have him take me shopping.

In real life, I'd prefer a gift card, I think. I have a hard time shopping when I'm with him because I feel like I can't really take my time and focus.

I'm not sure if you mean a whole shopping day like anything you want you get type of thing... I wouldn't want that.

But I have asked for a specific item and we have gone together to get that item and he "pays" for it. Like a necklace from somewhere or a purse from somewhere or a dress from somewhere. Something I would never buy unless for a very special reason. Right now I'm using all my gifts for 3 years to get an LV purse (aka I just get a card that says eta to purse) which we will go together and I can pick it out and he will "pay" for.

Okay confession... I have already "earned" my LV purse last year but still on the fence on which one to get!

Gift card...I like shopping on my own. I wouldn't subject DH to having to shop with me lol.

Gift card for sure! DH doesn't enjoy shopping and I wouldn't be able to enjoy myself if I dragged him from store to store. I'd rather shop by myself in peace.

Shopping day. Or a gift card with a day set out that he'll watch the kids so I can shop. A gift card usually does me no good as I have 2 kids with me at all times.

I would prefer him to do the shopping for me, I hate shopping!

Usually I prefer to shop alone but this past weekend we stopped by old navy to look for sleepwear for LO and dh insisted I try on stuff too since it was all on sale-- and he ended up buying me two dresses, a skirt, three shorts and a couple of shirts.

Had I been alone, I would have bought nothing because i'm still a size up and haven't wanted to buy anything in my current size. But now i'm glad he insisted.

The only thing I can think of that would actually be fun for both of us is a visit to a luxury boutique, where they serve you champange while you browse, but we'd not have fun going to the mall, lol.

I'd rather DH take me shopping. Anyone else though and I'd prefer the cash/gift card.

Yeah, I don't really like shopping in the first place, and I really don't like shopping with other people. So I'd prefer a gift card.

I like shopping with DH and he generally takes me shopping for my birthday. Next year, I think I'd rather the gift card and DH can stay with LO. I'd have a day of freedom!!

Between those two options, I'd prefer us go shopping together. My first option would be for him to shop & surprise me. He's great at picking stuff out for me and usually finds stuff that I usually would have overlooked but end up loving. He's a great shopper.

I love going shopping with my DH, so I'd prefer that. We have a lot of fun picking out clothes that the other finds attractive and splurging on each other. Now, granted, he's a typical guy so the shopping trip doesn't last THAT long but for an hour or two it's a lot of fun.
