@Minnie_Girl: kortney actually had a medicated birth. she had an epi and didn't feel a thing - i think that's why she was so calm! the doc just said, "want to grab the baby?" and she did.

I don't want to do anything any Kardashian does, the whole family is just so skeezy!
I had an emergency c-section, and will likely opt to have a repeat section, so no pulling out the baby myself!

@photojane: I'm surprised she could move to catch them with the epidural!

If I knew I wasn't hurting the baby, then I'd want to!

@Minnie_Girl: An epidural only numbs you from the midsection down. Her arms still work to reach down and lift up her baby and bring it to her chest.

@Arden: It's the positioning that sounds tricky. Was she on her back? I'm imagining trying to reach down while I'm on my back, my legs are propped up, and my belly's in the way!
...Alright, now I need to test this before my husband comes home and sees me making a fool of myself, haha!

@Minnie_Girl: must've been flexible from all the yoga! I could still give myself a full bikini wax at 40 weeks and a day, haha

@Minnie_Girl: I think the doctor helped guide her hands, but it wasn't hard. You can watch it online, I think.

@Arden: Verdict is: feels kind of awkward, looks very silly (esp. when attempting by your lonesome...let's call it the dead stinkbug pose), but definitely doable! Maybe the doc guided her to make sure the baby didn't slip out of her grasp.
@rachiecakes: Haha! That must be the trick. This gal has taken 0 yoga classes in her life and her fingertips barely know what her toes feel like...
