Just want to get a little feedback here before I got off and do something irrational. I love our daycare and the staff. I do have some concerns though. In two weeks my Lo has sustained 3 huge bruises one accompanying a large goose bump. She had recently learned to walk independently but is still really unstable from time to time. She's gotten these quote on quote bruises from falling while walking and landing on something hard (toys etc). Today she fell and smashed the top of her head on a mini wooden table the toddlers sit at. She's got a purple bruise and a good goose bump. They had me sign an accident report after telling me about it when I picked her up. I did not receive any calls that anything happened after any of these incidents. I get that babies and toddlers fall and accidents happen. I was cool about it after the first two. But after today looking at this poor baby that looks physically abused. (One bruise on each cheek and now her forhead) I can't help but feel mad that my LO is getting this hurt. Three times in two weeks? We don't have these kinds of accidents at home. I'm starting to wonder how much attention is being paid here. Am I over reacting to want to say something tomorrow or is this just normal toddler daycare stuff?
First time mom with a Lo in daycare so I really appreciate all the feedback as I don't want to look like THAT crazy first time mom.
