@looch: this. If I put my son in the front seat he would ask to be in the front seat every time. I would have put him in the car seat but half buckled.

ETA: when my son was younger my husband drove from the street into the driveway with my son buckled in the front seat. I was also worried about the neighbours but at the same time, I thought it was kinda cute.

Car seat. She's 2.5 and it's always been a struggle with the carseat. If we made one exception, she would never want to sit in it again.
