It is so unreliable.
I had moldy grapes this morning.
And now, my carrot sticks are frozen!
Agh. This makes me want to make a reliable batch of macaroni and cheese or something else equally processed that will not even rot or look different in some land fill 10,000 years from now.

The carrot problem is likely your fridge being too cold (I've had this issue too). No idea about the moldy grapes though, lame!

ugh. soo annoying. that happens to us a lot. we don't eat it quick enough and it goes bad so fast!

Haahahha, DH always yells at me when I buy produce because it always goes bad before I eat it all...oops.

One time I bought blackberries from Publix and the very next day there was mold. I took them back to the grocery store. Based on the cashier's reaction I think a bunch of people bought a bad lot and were not thrilled.

This happened to me with blueberries last week, the day after I bought them. And they weren't cheap! So frustrating

For berries I love soaking them in a solution of one part vinegar to ten parts water (rinse off afterwards). Keeps them fresher so much longer!

@TurtleDoves: LOL the hubs and i picked ALL of the oranges on our stupid tree about a month ago... and then they sat in a bunch of bags on our back porch until I threw everything out last week. Green powder everywhere!
