Hellobee Boards

Since J "loves" photos so much, we don't plan sessions around Al's bday (especially because the weather is horrid). BUT, we do love at least 1 session each year. Ideally, we have 1 session at home with our photographer and 1 outside session with a certain BFF.

Like you, I take so many photos throughout the year, and to me, that's almost more important.

We did 3, 6, 9 and 12 month pics, then 2 year pics. I'm not a great photographer, I only use my phone and I'm just terrible at remembering to take pics. So--that's why I make an effort for the prof pics.

DD was born in Feb and things are ugly here then as well. I think we're going to do a family shoot this August and then do DD pictures every August thereafter. I'll call that her annual pic and use it for Christmas cards.

We just do newborn family shoots and then first birthday shoots. After that, they have pics done at Christmas, and we take them the rest of the time.

I've always done them myself. Still in the same chair we took her monthly pics in but now with a white tee and jeans (or whatever bottoms she picks out!). Just keep it neutral to show the change in her. Though I think next year at 5, I'll just take it with her against one of the walls of our house. She's a winter baby so I keep it simple.
