My check out clerk at the grocery store was just telling me about his friends who NATURALLY conceived QUINTUPLETS. Three identical girls and two fraternal boys. I would have to be institutionalized. The fact that this is even possible makes me want to shun my husband to the guest room!!

Gah! Sometimes my DH makes offhanded, but serious, remarks about "Well if we ended up with 4 or 5 kids..."
And I pass out the thought!

I was joking with DH the other night and said maybe our next batch of kids with be quads... after hearing this I wish I would have kept my mouth shut.

We currently have a Bee who has a quad pregnancy (at least initially... Don't know if that's still the case).
Multiples are one of the many reasons we're probably stopping while we're ahead!

@MamaMoose: I saw this family on the Today show a couple of weeks ago. They conceived quintuplets naturally, and they already had 4 kids (one set of twins). That's 9 kids in 4 pregnancies!

OMG, DH and I were just talking about this and wondering if that would ever happen naturally. We both thought it was highly unlikely, but I forgot about the chance of identical twins/triplets. This would terrify me...I mean, in the end I would sort of love it...but WOAH that would take some serious getting used to.

@mediagirl: Well it was a long discussion. We were talking about M and how old she is and then the bagger was telling us he has has six kids ranging from ages 19 to 1 and we were talking about how hard that must be to have lots of kids and then the clerk told us about his friend. So it wasn't just totally out of the blue : )
I thought maybe you had some exciting news for us!
