Half gallon of milk- $1.99-2.50 (regular milk). Local dairy is $3.79 + $2 bottle rental, which is what I normally get.
Dozen eggs- I think $1-$2 for normal eggs (aldi's is the only place with them for a $1 normally BTW). Our local farm ones are $3.79 at WF
Loaf of bread- $2-$3
Pound of chicken breasts- Anywhere from $1.99 (on sale- the real cheapo stuff which icks me out) to ~$4-5/ lb (normal price for brand name) $8 a lb (organic). Local is $7/lb (free range but not organic).
16 ounces of dried pasta- $1-1.30 for whole wheat
Block of your favorite cheese- I buy store brand on sale for $2.29 (just normal colby jack, nothing fancy) or up to $2.50 for kraft blocks on sale. Aldi's has honey goat cheese for $1.99 which I LOVE- it's only 4 oz so I eat it in like two sitting.
Pound of nectarines- oh man, I don't know. Peaches and nectarines aren't my favorite.
Pound of cherries - I try to only buy on sale for $1.99-$2.99/lb. Otherwise I think they are 3.99-4.99/lb?

Loaf of bread: $3.99 - $5 for your run of the mill crappy sandwich bread
Pound of chicken breasts: Might go as low as $1.99 on super sale (bone in, skin on), but usually $5-7 – not organic
16 ounces of dried pasta: $1 on a good sale, for store brand or like Barilla
Block of your favorite cheese: $3 for small block of Cabot cheddar, that’s the entry point for cheese and goes up from there

Pound of cherries: $3.99 on sale in summer, up to $10/lb otherwise, not organic

Block of your favorite cheese The 2lb block of Tillamook just went up to $10 so we've been eating less because other cheddar just isn't as good.
Pound of nectarines - peaches are $1.29 I think? Maybe $1.99
Pound of cherries We only eat local ones in season and I think they are $5 a pound? But amazing.

@Mrs. Sunshine: I just bought what I thought was a pound of cherries. Went over. It was $8.
It was $6.99 lb at Whole Foods...sale price.

@808love: @looch: gah! So expensive. I loved it while they were in season, we ate a ton but I guess we will be buying frozen until next year!
