... The parking attendant invites you to his wedding!
This happened today. I chat with the parking guys at the hospital where DS2 was for 2 months and where we now go for weekly appointments, and today this one guy told me he just got engaged and wants me to come to his wedding! I gave him my email. Another one always valets my car to a good spot.
Anyone else?

Haha this is about my parents- he knows the route and can tell when we're about five minutes away and starting going on and on about grandma and grandpa!

I used to frequent a local drive through (mom and pop) coffee place in college. One day in December I got to the window and they handed me a Christmas card and present!
My mom went there all the time too and they knew when she went on a diet and they'd tell on her to me - "your mom got a cookie today, remind her she needs to watch her sugar!"

That's really nice!
The Dunkin Donuts guy knew me and my sister in high school. He'd have our regular order ready for us by the time we got to the front of the line. 
And the guy at the liquor store near me doesn't card me any more. Here in MA they card *everyone* so it's not just that I look old. He just recognizes me as the woman who always buys wine with a baby strapped to her chest.

Awww that's so sweet!
I got Subway every week on payday during my pregnancy. I went in finally about 3 months PP and she said "buffalo chicken with honey mustard- oh you had your baby!" Yup remembers my order AND that I was pregnant. She then asked if I was getting my usual cookies. WHOOPS.

These are so cute!!
Is it bad that I take Lorelei to the liquor store to visit their dog? 
She loves Dolly (more than our poor little dog!) and likes to give her treats and throw toys for her. She asks to go there all the time.
Our local library knows what sorts of books each girl prefers and will pre-emptively place holds on things when they get something new they think one or the other will like. And they always chat with them. I love it.

That's really sweet! When I was pregnant I went to the same place for coffee every morning in my 3rd trimester so ALL of the employees knew what I was going to order and just started making it when I walked in the door. The manager would frequently give it to me for free as well
