What weird things have you done when you're sleep deprived?

Haha. A similar title might be "you know you are addicted to baby connect when..."
The other day I set DS in the crib to switch laundry. I came back in and panicked when I didn't see him on his play mat in the living room. Uhmm duh it's because you didn't leave him in the living room!

I poured a strip of my son's hair gel on my toothbrush instead of toothpaste. The tube looks the same!

After successfully grocery shopping with my 7 month old, I loaded him, and the groceries into the car and drove home. Only then did I realize that I left his diaper bag, which included my wallet and phone, in the buggy. Thankfully, someone was honest and turned it into the grocery store so I got it back.
THEN, the next day when cooking dinner I couldn't find the shredded cheese to put in the enchiladas. I searched the entire fridge, because I knew I had some. Finally I gave up and shredded some cheese cubes I had. After I got the enchiladas in the oven and started cleaning up, I found the bag of shredded cheese on the counter, where I originally put it when I got it out of the fridge to start cooking.
I need some sleep. Haha.

You pull into the gas station because you're car is on empty, go inside to get some water while your car is filling up, come out and drive off..... all without realizing you never turned the pump on.

I keep forgetting that I've done things. Like, I'll post here or on FB and then be really surprised when I get replies or notifications...

I've gone to the supermarket, paid for my groceries....and then started walking away without my bag of groceries. I still wonder how I remember to do anything, and I'm 14 months out.

@LuLu Mom: haha i did something similar, I walked into the shower with my glasses on and was wondering why I could see and why everything was spotty (water on my lenses)

I put LO back in his PNP in the middle of the night, changed out of my pajamas into regular clothes, brushed my teeth and got back in bed. I woke up a few hours later completely confused as to why I was dressed

you go to put a new pair of breast pads on in the morning... and find not one... not two... but THREE pads on each side. -.-

@grizz: L.OL that's great!
I keep trying to wear my glasses into the shower, and I frequently mess up little everyday things like putting Splenda into my water bottle instead of my coffee mug and putting cereal away in the fridge. I also forget or mix up words a lot, which is kind of scary.

LO was up 3x last night... Ugh! This morning I got dressed for work and threw on flip flips to take the trash out... When I got to LOs daycare later in the morning, I realized I was still wearing flip flops! Ack! I had to drive back home for my heels.

I drove right past the exit in the parking garage at work like I thought there was another level. I had to back up. Ugh. I just said "sorry, I have a newborn". The guy looked like he got it.

@MrsF: my DH managed to get out of a ticket for turning left at a red light with "sorry, I have a newborn!"

@cmomma17: New parents should get some sort of card to carry around. You just can't be responsible for your behavior for at least 6 months

I sat down to pump at work last week and realized after 10 minutes I never hooked myself up. I was just zoning out, dreaming about sleep.

@Penny Lane: OMG. This had me in tears. Seriously, I can't stop laughing. It's not funny that you're that sleep deprived though... But that is some funny shit!!!

The other day, I walked around like a frantic maniac for almost five minutes, trying to figure out where the hell I put my bottles of pumped milk. Of course, they were still screwed onto my pumping bra, swishing in the wind.

Ugh, the lack of sleep is so hard! Today I could hardly keep myself awake at work, so I took the commuter bus to my car to go home. Turns out I left my car keys on my desk, so I wasted an hour or more taking the bus back to my office to get my keys, then back to my car again. Boo.

@.twist.: oh, don't worry, I just about died laughing at the time too! and it was in the newborn days so thank goodness I'm not that sleep deprived anymore!!

I kept leaving my phone in the fridge . . . I thought there was something wrong with the fridge because it kept buzzing -,-.
I also left my sweater pulled up over mah bewbs at work after a pumping session once (thank Jeebus I was wearing a cami!) and I also cut two holes out of a regular bra when I realized I forgot my HF bra one afternoon. I then lined the cut outs with sticky notes to make sure my girls didn't poke through. : /
