Is your daycare diverse? Mine isn't!

no it isn't. the ethnic breakdown is 4 half asians (although charlie is 3/4), 1 hispanic, 6 white.

You mean diversity amongst the workers or children? Like their race, economic background?

Nope, most are African American, like me and my LO.

There are 12 babies in the infant class and they are all white except for my LO. The teacher told me the older class is all white except for one half Asian.

@autumnlove: our daycare is mostly white. in my LO's toddler class it is:
1: 1/2 white/1/2 asian (my LO)
1: african american
2: indian
6: white -
Based on our tour I'm going to say she's going to be the only one that's non 100% white! haha.

when I went on tour the babies I saw where either indian, hispanic or white. I didnt see any other races that day in the infant section.

I think out of about 16 babies, there are 3 african americans, and 1 hispanic. There may be others but they look white.

We have 2 Half Asian girls (sisters) and the rest are white. We're looking at a preschool program now that I think will have a lot more diversity though!
