1) Bouncing! The jumperoo is fun but bouncing on us - especially grandad - is much better!
2) Bathtime. The water is great but the best part is playing with.....
3) DADDY! Even after a full day of teething misery, she can find smiles for daddy when he gets in.
4) Sophie the Giraffe. She's so squeaky and chewy and fun to wave about!
5) Pork. Honestly!! Any food containing pork must be consumed rapidly, pausing only to say "mmmmmm" before loudly protesting that the next spoonful isn't coming quick enough!

Cute! LO just turned 8 months and loooves sitting up by herself, chewing the straps of her stroller, and practicing standing in her crib (her stokke is perfect for her little hands to grasp!) She had a huge last couple days where she is doing all of these milestones at once. It is awesome! She also started crawling... she also loves to twist during changes which is not my favorite!

--his playkitchen he got from Santa. Plays on it constantly!
--balls
--our dog (mini dachshund). He throws balls to him and feeds him pieces of dry food all the time. The feeling isn't mutual though

@autumnlove: my LO went through a huge ladybug phase around 20-24 months. Someone gifted her a ladybug pillow pet that she was obsessed with, she loved these ladybug songs at music and would point out ladybugs in her books

LO loves: cookies, bath time, balls, dropping things and saying "uh oh" really dramatically (even though it was done on purpose), telling stories, Reese (her friend at daycare..everything is Reese-ie these days and her eyes light up when you mention his name.)

@autumnlove: So cute! I need that! I want to get her the ladybug pillow pet, but Dan said she doesn't need anymore stuffed animals. I think I might get it anyway.

@sandy: ha... just mentioned the pillow pet. The fact that your babe loves hers just sold me. She probably needs a few more birthday presents, right?

DD is 19 months and she loves:
-Her stuffed bunny (we have to have 3 identical ones in rotation because she chews/sucks on them non-stop. I have to wash them constantly). When we get in the house from daycare she immediately starts calling for her bunny. "bunnnnnyyyy...bunnnnyyyyy".
-Ernie, big bird, cookie monster and elmo (she doesn't watch sesame street on tv, but we have all the books from when my DH was a kid). She thinks that Bert and Ernie are the same person so she calls them "Ernie and Ernie".
-naming her friends at daycare (she does this every day for the whole car ride home)
-Putting a blanket down on the floor and saying "night night" and pretending to go to sleep.

My 2.5 year old is really into sharks, sea creatures of all kinds (except lobsters), Goodnight Goodnight Construction Site, Richard Scarry books, giving lots of hugs to baby brother, and eating nonstop.
My 3 month old is a fan of eating and sucking on his fingers. Balloons are also pretty cool in his book.

@autumnlove: she slaps her belly when she sucks her thumb. She must ALWAYS have access to it, except at night, when she says bye bye to it when we put her sleeper on.
coconut / 8861 posts
@cookie_dough: Cookie Monster is practically a trigger word in our house. LO wants cookies all the time. We can't even say Cookie Monster without him running to the fridge for cookies. I have a bag we use for trips with a pic of Cookie Monster on it. I wanted Elmo, but they didn't have it.
kiwi / 619 posts
@cascademom: Hahaha yep, that sounds like DD! She definitely lovessss her cookies and asks for them all the time now. When I talk about Cookie Monster, I try and emphasize the word "monster" so that she doesnt' think I'm offering her a cookie.

J is REALLY into a stuffed monkey he has, and not much else. That is the only toy he will grab for, snuggle, put in his mouth, etc. They're BFF's.

@autumnlove: Yes, ugh that show is so dumb and she loves it so much!! (My husband likes the Three Stooges and put it on as a joke one day, joke’s on us!)
Yesterday when we got home from work/daycare, as soon as we walked in the door she commands me “Milk, pizza, Stooges”!! I was like “ugh, can I get a please, girlfriend?!”
