My toddler called meatballs "nipples"... I almost died!

No LOs yet, but my favorite from a friend: socks=c*cks! She was terrified of him yelling that all over target.
GOLD / papaya / 10166 posts
@MrsBrewer: My parents dog is named Tucker, but she hardly sees him (he's scared of her). She hears Roscoe a lot more often.

My nephew who is 4 was trick or treating, and he was just walking away from a house after they gave him some candy, and he was soooo excited and he was running over to us yelling "MOM!! Look! She gave me a Reese's Penis!!!" Everyone was laughing SOOOO hard! (He obviously meant Reese's Pieces)

Milk = Nip (should add that this is nursing milk generally)
Cracker = tatup
running bath water = cup (I think due to water in her cup?).
shark = sharp

I can't wait until DD can start talking!! These are all way too cute.
@MrsBrewer: Oh my goodness, I would have died laughing... haha

Our little one has all kinds of mispronunciations. My favorite is light= ight-ee.
Our older daughter came home saying namaste=namastape.

E keeps saying something that sounds remarkably like "oh shi*t" but I have not clue what he's actually saying.
GOLD / papaya / 10166 posts
@kiddosc: W has been doing that lately. I keep trying to make sure I didn't actually say it!

@swurlygurl: It really was hilarious! He was even laughing! He realized it after we were all laughing, he just learned all of the anatomically correct names for body parts!
coconut / 8234 posts
@BabyBoecksMom: Hahaha. I love how she pronounces Eyes.
@autumnlove: OMG, I would laugh so hard and make her say stinky all the time.
@Mrs. Jacks: I'm saying Namastape from now on.
LO has lots of mispronunciations but none of them are that funny. They just sound cute, like "Dum" for "drum" and she'll say "dum, dum, dum" while she's drumming. Or "gasses" for "glasses" and "eyebow" for "eyebrow." I kind of want her to say something that sounds like it's profanity, haha.

Not my DD, but our niece sent a video message to DH for his birthday and she said "Happy Bullshit Uncle Jason" I died.

My DS was saying something that sounded a lot like "s#!t" when he first started talking... then we figured out that WAS what he was saying. Oops Now for "pizza" he says something like "ta-deez" which we can't quite figure out... he is usually relatively clear

DD is oddly clear with pronunciation, but says a few things in such a cute way!
Orange: ornch
Off: oppf
Binky: she's lazy, she can say binky if I ask her to, but likes to say beebee instead
Cookie: she can also say this correctly, but likes to say coo-coo until I pretend I don't understand- then she says it correctly!
Love you: ove you, or yove chu
The letter W: youble you
Letters B and V both sound like: B (which I tell her is correct in Spanish anyway )
blogger / coconut / 8306 posts
@autumnlove: hahahaha C calls stink bugs "stinky". If we put one outside, she says, "byyeeee stinky!!!!"
blogger / coconut / 8306 posts
Chloe is usually pretty clear, but she does call boobs 'boots'.
She also gets this out of no where southern accent when she's super excited and screaming.

@bpcmarj: poopoo! Awww. Get that one on video.

Lorelei's not much for mispronounciation, but she is often saying embarassing things very clearly. Like asking for nipples in public. Especially if there are men around. Or telling people that, "Freckles pees it outside. Out him penis." Or this little gem: Mr. T got a bit of stomach flu. Yesterday at the grocery, the checker (who knows us pretty well) said, "Lorelei, where's Daddy today?" To which she responded, "Daddy pooping him diarrhea poops in the potty. Good job, Daddy!" She said, "Maybe next time I won't ask."

Now that DS is older, I feel like he pronounces most things more or less correctly. But my all time favorite was "elevator" it sounded like he was saying "have a good day" and it took us FOREVER to figure out what he meant when he would say something like "we're going to take the have a good day".

Ohhh these are cracking me up!!
Yellow = Yeah yeah
Football = boo ballllll (makes a hilarious face)
Please = Da
Hockey = Ca Ca
Water = Ahhhh
Dora = Do Do
bananas / 9118 posts
I love these!!
He calls pumpkins "ball" probably because it looks like his basketball. We were dying laughing at the pumpkin patch yesterday... "ball, ball, ball, ball, ball"
One of my favorites is playing "motorboat" in swim class- the kiddos are either in folded pool noodles or have a kickboard to hold onto- every time we start this, C starts yelling Mo Mo Mo Mo for motorboat. (motorboat, motorboat, go so slow, motorboat, motorboat, go so fast...)
He's big on animal names and sounds-
Right now he calls goat "doat"
I have a hard time deciphering between meow, moo, and more since they all sound similar. I have to see if he's holding his cup, bowl, cow, or cat to figure it out.

These are all so cute!
Here's Maddy's, we're working on the last one..
Mamoo = cow
Dringy = drink or any kind of water really!
Muk = milk
Nak = snack
Whoa-we = Chloe & Charlie
C*ck = cook...

Colin's best one now is football - he yells it over and over and it sounds like "f*ck-up". So cute and so embarrassing in public.
pomegranate / 3791 posts
OMG I cannot stop laughing right now. I have nothing to contribute because my baby isn't talking yet, he just makes dinosaur screeches and something that kind of sounds like hi sometimes. But the swear word ones are freaking hilarious!
GOLD / papaya / 10166 posts
@Mrs. Twine: OMG that's hilarious
@lemondrop: I have to look at her half the time to see what she's really talking about.

Got a new one today-
Wild Kratts came on the TV and they were talking about rhinos- C has been a mimicking fiend today so we tried to get him to say "rhino" instead he says "oh no!"
He knows what "oh no" means- he says it when he runs out of food, and last night we were watching a movie on ABC family and one of their commercials for Christmas movies came up and they were advertising one with The Miz and my husband and I started laughing and saying that was awful, C very clearly looks up at us and says, "Oh No!" we about died laughing.
