I had no idea it was such a small company. Pretty cool.

@lawbee11: I never used it but heard about it on here a lot. When I saw it I was like, wait I know that thing!

We're watching! K is still in her zippy at 13 months. Ordering the next size up soon!

I need one of these!! I wish it was in our budget right now, it would be perfect for LO2!

Watching! I am so curious about these. I keep wanting to try it, but it's so expensive! I've looked all over for a used one to try but I can't find them for resale anywhere!

@Bao: @Mae: How old are your littles? I have 2 size mediums that K has almost outgrown (just sold my small to @lovelyplum), but she didn't fit a medium until maybe 7-8 months?
papaya / 10343 posts
@Mrs. Oatmeal: Only 4mo, we definitely need a small. I've checked the classifieds here (and did an ISO!) and ebay and my local resale shop, no dice. They're like $45 with shipping and I'm just too cheap for that lol. I wish I could find a small to try so I'd know if we like it and I would totally buy the medium from you! haha

@Mae: yeah- the price tag was tough. I'm not a 'gadget' buyer...but we love ours. Sometimes they go on sale for $29 when they are clearing out patterns...still pricy though.
papaya / 10343 posts
@Mrs. Oatmeal: if only I had a crystal ball to see if it would actually be necessary We are planning to swaddle wean and sleep train at the same time, some time in the next month or so. And ideally I'd love to not need any "gadget"... just put her in pjs and put her to bed. But I do wonder if this would ease the transition. Honestly I was there and ready to purchase tonight, even at $35... but $9 shipping killed it for me. It's a principal thing. Fold that bad boy up and stick it in an envelope for $2.50. $9 to ship something is ludicrous!

LO loved hers. When I bought it a few years ago, it seemed like a business that was just starting out (based on how the website looked). I knew it was homemade.

@Mrs. Oatmeal: E is 6 months but is in size 12 month clothes and is in 6-18 month normal sleep sack, now sure how these run?
GOLD / watermelon / 14076 posts
@Mae: If you use the code SLEEP you get $2 off. But yeah, still expensive. We switched to sleep sacks after she outgrew the small at around 10-11 months because I didn't want to drop more money on them.

@lawbee11: Yea. Meh. It's sort of a principal thing. DH is like omfg just buy it. I'm like but but... that's ridiculous lol. I'm pretty crafty so I'm considering DIY'ing one... they just do not look that hard to make. $6 in fabric and a $3 zipper...? it just looks so simple! (Unless you still had your small to sell! lol)
GOLD / watermelon / 14076 posts
@Mae: I actually already sold ours on the Classifieds...it sold really quickly. They do have good resale value. I got back almost 1/2 of what I paid. You could probably DIY it if you are good at sewing. The zipper did have a special fabric cover thing so that it wasn't exposed (I'm assuming it's a choking hazard otherwise).
papaya / 10343 posts
@lawbee11: Yea I noticed it has a hidden zipper with a cover (and I assume a snap?). My grandma was a seamstress so I grew up making random clothes projects. Mostly I'm too lazy anymore. But this might be the item to spur me on haha. Although I think if I make it I may do the zipper upside down like on the halo swaddle sacks because that just seems like a good idea to me.

@Bao: Is she tall? M is in 12 month clothes still and would need a medium for the length. She grew out of the small lengthwise at around 10 months.
GOLD / wonderful apricot / 22276 posts
@lawbee11: she is tall! I'd definitely want to buy one that she wasn't going to outgrow in a month or two.
GOLD / watermelon / 14076 posts
@Bao: I'd definitely skip the small and go straight to medium then!

@kayakgirl73: I wasn't watching (still working) - did they actually mention HB??

@BabyBoecksMom: they said a community and seemed like it was online? But didn't say HB

We adore ours from @Mrs. Oatmeal: !! We had entirely swaddle weaned almost two months before we started using it, so I didn't know how much it would help. It is so useful, though!
@Mrs. Oatmeal: I would be in the market for one of your mediums when we outgrow, if it is still around. But if you have a taker now, by ll means, let them have it! Sharing the zippy love
blogger / honeydew / 7081 posts
@LovelyPlum: awesome! We have two- the hands on them are a little chewed...I'll make sure to hold onto one for you!
eggplant / 11408 posts
@Mrs. Oatmeal: yay! And don't worry about that...she immediately put them in her mouth, too, so they will be chewed either way!

So... It's basically a sleep sack with sleeves??
pineapple / 12234 posts
@regberadaisy: it's a starfish shaped sleep sack...I posted this on HB a few years ago when we bought it. I think she might have improved them since?
