so DH is working from home all week and has Micah today and Micah has been crying all day. DH doesn't know what's wrong with him- not hungry, no dirty diaper,no fever. I facetimed him and was able to calm him down. Teething maybe? I hate not knowing what's wrong!

@whenoceansrise: oh wow! I never tried to FaceTime DD cause I wasn't even sure if she'd know what's going on!
Gas? Could be teething.. try giving him like a cold wash cloth to chew on? Or maybe b/c the arrangement is different since he usually gets grandma? I'm so sorry! I know the feeling.. So helpless to not be able to help!

@whenoceansrise: ohhh I'm so sorry maybe teeth maybe just different with Dad all day hope he is ok now

@snowjewelz: @FaithFertility: he is doing a lot better now that I'm home! Hopefully he will do well with DH the rest of the week

@whenoceansrise: Aw that's so hard sorry! Maybe it was just being out of routine? I hope tomorrow is better!
@FaithFertility: sorry you've not seen DH very much. The kids miss my husband a few days a week as well and it sucks. I hope you've gotten some good babysitting out of staying with your mom!

Ryan's running a low grade temp from his shots (100.7) Gave him some Tylenol and hoping he can sleep it off tonight. Poor bug.

@winniebee: I've definitely taken that opportunity, but since she STILL wont take a bottle my time is limited!

@whenoceansrise: poor Micah (and daddy)! I hope things improve!
@winniebee: maybe the shots will make him sleepy anyway!

@FaithFertility: OMG, Logan loves the TV too! I remember 4 months being the age when Xander started to get too distracted and I had to nurse in quiet to make it work.
@whenoceansrise: Poor baby! Maybe teething. Maybe gas. Besides crying, has he done anything else, like pulling on his ears (might indicate an ear infection)?
@winniebee: Logan got a fever from his shots too. Hope Ryan's feeling okay!
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
I'm not sure, but we might be dealing with the 4 month regression... either that or Logan's still not feeling well. He kept waking every few hours last night. I'm exhausted!

Dear RnP, you have been my sleeping crutch. You served us well for the past four months, but I really must move on. K has already lost her love for you so I too must move on and accept our changing world. You were so easy and comfortable and provided us with good rest. I hope your cousin PnP affords us the same comfort while we work toward the crib.

Bad night of sleep here. Up every 3 hours. Please God be a growth spurt. She's still sleeping after last wake up.
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@BandDmommy: Ugh, I'm sorry! Is there a growth spurt around now? I totally can't keep track anymore.
hostess / wonderful grape / 20803 posts
@MamaG: good luck! We will be following soon behind in your footsteps!

Ryan had an ok night. Up at 2 and I redosed Tylenol. But then up at 5 and up for day at 730. But 20 mins late yawning. His fever is gone though. Have another doc appt today (for his eyes since I was born with glaucoma we have to monitor). Not looking forward to it!

Boooo to bad sleep we had a weird night bed at 8 up at 9 yelling then 1 and 6 soo not too bad but not her usual!!!
Be gone growth spurts and regression
pomelo / 5660 posts
I'm guessing growth spurt because she ate like a Piggie each time she woke up. She she was fussing at Breast at every feed.

Just went my house to let dogs out....took a look at work and they have a containment wall up that is stapled to our walls?????? So we have HUGE staples in our walls? I asked DH he seemed oblivious....ummmm when you take them out are they repainting and fixing the holes?
Ughhhhhh?!?!?!?
eggplant / 11861 posts
@Adira: I may be over reacting but you can see where some are out and it left huge nicks
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@FaithFertility: No, it sucks if they are putting any nicks/dents/holes in your walls.
eggplant / 11861 posts
@Adira: They might be completely aware and ready to fix but it just seems weird
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@FaithFertility: I'm kind of betting that even if they spackle it, they aren't going to fix the paint...
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@whenoceansrise: I hope so too! I'm sure he is thrilled to spend a whole week with his lil boy!
@FaithFertility: I am so sorry! She really loves the boob huh! Maybe you need to just do a weekend get away at some point and force whoever is with her to just battle it out I know it's not the ideal thing to do... So I hope & pray she will take one before drastic measures!
And they better fix everything so that it's as if no one ever even did work there!
@winniebee: I'm glad he did ok! It's good that he is being monitored from birth for the glaucoma! I've been borderline glaucoma for a number of years now & have to get on eye drops here & there... Def not fun!
@MamaG: She looks sooo comfy and cozy!
honeydew / 7283 posts
@Adira: j is super distracted too. Turning his neck and pulling my nipples with him. Yikes!
@MamaG: so cute
@winniebee: hope your appointment goes well!
@BandDmommy: so unusual for D! I hope things are back to normal soon.
@FaithFertility: such a pain
eggplant / 11861 posts
@Adira: huh ohhh they will we just painted whole house about 9 months ago

Is there such a thing is napping too much? DH lets K nap on him all day and she slept for like 4+ hrs (2x 2 hr naps and another small one). She was so fussy last night, didn't go down till 10pm and I feel like it's b/c she napped too much!
pomelo / 5298 posts
@snowjewelz: K routinely takes a three hour nap at daycare. Yesterday was only one three hour, but she will often have at least one shorter one as well. I don't think 4 hours is excessive at this age.
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@MamaG: Ok. I think it's cause usually she takes like 4-5 30-40 min naps so I was like whaaat she slept that much?!
eggplant / 11861 posts
@snowjewelz: It is because she is on his chest....I swear G would nap all day if we let her
pear / 1961 posts
@banddmommy: we were up chugging milk every 3 hours last night too. Is there a 4-and-a-half month growth spurt? haha.
pear / 1961 posts
@snowjewelz: e usually naps for 5 hours (total) each day. it doesn't really seem to affect her night sleep. She is definitely tired everytime i put her down and puts herself to sleep quickly.
