@AngelicOne: Hope M is feeling better!!!
G just pooped on the potty!!!
She said "Hiny" and went right to the bathroom door so I put her on and.....

@FaithFertility: awesome! Hope she keeps it up. E has lost interest already.

@josina: Me too...lol I'm not pushing it until after our few vacations in June, but I'm definitely not going to ignore her signals either!

It is so crazy to me that some of your LO's are using the potty. Micah is nowhere near ready for that!
hostess / wonderful grape / 20803 posts
@whenoceansrise: haha Ryan neither. He does point to his diaper and tell me "pup" when he goes poop but that's as far as it's gone
eggplant / 11861 posts
@whenoceansrise: I really think it is her seeing he others at her sitters 1 just started
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
Kara is still only interested in her potty as a chair, tho she will say pee or poop while sitting on it but I know she's not really doing it
nectarine / 2053 posts
@winniebee: haha that's something though! I don't think Micah even knows what peeing and pooping is yet! I'll ask him "did you poop" and he doesn't really respond. He still only says a few words though!
@FaithFertility: Nice, that makes sense!
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@whenoceansrise: same w/ kara. well, she knows peeing b/c when we pee she points to us and says pee pee haha. And I ask her if she pooped and she always is like noo!
honeydew / 7283 posts
@winniebee: J is so cranky if we're not actively doing something (playing outside, etc). He's been having major tantrums when I have to take something away or tell him he can't do something. I'm sure birthday cake would be included in that! And happy birthday to T
honeydew / 7283 posts
@FaithFertility: Woah! Pooping on that potty already? I feel like we are SO far away from that
honeydew / 7283 posts
@whenoceansrise: We didn't potty train M until 2.5 and that was earlier than many of her friends.

Girls weekend this weekend!!!! Excited, but nervous.... G still has this cough and her night sleep hasn't been great, but then again she was home with DH Monday and Tuesday and was unicorn child napped 12-2 everyday for him
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@FaithFertility: Have fun! Kara and I both have this lingering cough that won't go away either.
eggplant / 11861 posts
@snowjewelz: awful! She has had fits at night keep her up and Dr. Really basically blamed teeth and a sinus infection, nothing he could really do

Quick check in. We survived our flight. K hates the sand and waves. She does love water though. Thank goodness our resort has a splash pad and small water park. And she still will randomly throw up in the car. I don't enjoy room sharing with her, she's loud in the pack and play. The weather in Panama City Beach is great!!
honeydew / 7283 posts
@FaithFertility: Sorry G's not doing great, but enjoy your girls' weekend. Sounds like fun!!
@MamaG: Glad the flight is over but sorry about the throwing up. Bummer. Vacations with kids are a totally different animal. I hope you can enjoy that beautiful beach!
eggplant / 11861 posts
@MamaG: So glad you guys are enjoying your vacation, minus the loud toddler and throw up
So I am thinking G is used to going to park or running around outside before bed...
But every day/night since Tuesday it is a stormy mess so we stay inside, hopefully that is what is contributing to her awful sleep we was up from 1-2 WIDE AWAKE!!
I am OVER IT!!!!
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@FaithFertility: oh no! i can't imagine ANY sleep trouble during pregnancy. sucky weather just sucks!
eggplant / 11861 posts
@snowjewelz: She was a mess kept throwing her "birdie" out of crib and would say "Mama where is birdie!!!!?
I laughed the first time, but after 10 I was done.... lol
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@FaithFertility: Haha I don't even know how you managed the first laugh. K suddenly screamed mommy MOTN last night but thankfully went back to sleep as soon as I gave her a cuddle.
pomegranate / 3973 posts
@MamaG: Have fun! E was scared of sand too the first time, I think until he realized how fun it is to throw it, lol.
@FaithFertility: Oh no, we had a couple nights like that last week. The 2nd night I just put him back in his crib and let him CIO, momma needs sleep.
Hope you get some sun soon! Rainy days are the worst with these wanna-be-outside-all-the-time todddlers.
18 month check up / shots today. OMG, how do I have a 1-1/2 year old already!
eggplant / 11861 posts
@josina: I truly wish I could do CIO more, I just anxiety wise can't!
I think it is a combo of teeth, weather, her cough....etc
I pray it ends though!
1.5 how did we get here!!!!!!!
honeydew / 7283 posts
It's so hard to believe they are close to 1.5! I was two different friends with 4 and 6 week olds today. So tiny
On a semi-related note, this was the month that we were planning on starting to TTC, but DH and I are both sort of... not talking about it. I think we both know we would like to have a third, but we're just so tired. And considering I still have an IUD, we're going to have to talk about it at some point! My sister's wedding is in October and part of me sort of wants to wait. I've had such terrible morning sickness throughout my pregnancies and I want to enjoy all of the wedding festivities as her MOH. Who knows if we'll have trouble getting pregnant this time though? Ugh.
pear / 1961 posts
@mrsf: it's a hard decision! both my 2nd and now 3rd, we were technically NTNP but not really going to TTC for awhile...and it happened earlier than planned anyways! even though i was convinced it might take awhile or might not even happen at all. you just never know!
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@KayKay: same here! i was not expecting to get pregnant from NTNP at all
@MrsF: it is such a hard decision; esp since you have to actively decide to take out the IUD! and even harder when you are under the influence (aka not enough sleep, stress, etc!)
pomegranate / 3045 posts
@MamaG: glad the flight went okay. And your resort sounds awesome!! Bet she loves the splash pad. H was a huge fan of the pool when we were in Mexico
@FaithFertility: sorry for the crummy sleep!!
@MrsF: it's a touch decision!! I think we are waiting until this fall (we want about a 3 year gap), so I think you should totally ttc after the wedding
pomelo / 5298 posts
@theotherstark: we have a three year gap. We don't know any other way, but I couldn't imagine having them closer together.
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@theotherstark: I was gonna go for a 2.5-3 year gap too... Until it's not, lol.

@MamaG: Have fun on vacation.
@josina: Yep it's hard to believe they 1.5 yrs old. M's 18 mo appt is Thursday. M likes to walk across the sand volleyball court our apt complex has, but doesn't try to eat it....yet! LOL
@FaithFertility: M has a routine of going outside after dinner and gets so mad if he can't go when he wants to. (We try to wait until 6:30pm so the sun is down more & that way he has time for a bath before bed).
eggplant / 11861 posts
@MrsF: I'm sure whatever you choose will be right for your family right now!!
Girls weekend, I can't hang
All still asleep I woke at 7 lol

18 months is upon us! Our vacation is over. Pacifier weaning? I'm scared. She's different than her sister, I'm confident she'll become a finger sucker. Who is still in on the pacifier weaning?
hostess / wonderful grape / 20803 posts
@MamaG: we still have to paci wean. I'm scared. Ryan sttn reliably and naps well but he's been resisting bed time and waking early so I'm just holding off. He still also waffles between 1 and 2 naps
@MrsF: I say have fun at the wedding! Even if you wait until after it still would only be about 2.5 year age gap!
hostess / wonderful grape / 20803 posts
@FaithFertility: yikes! She doesn't nap too much so I doubt it's lack of being tired! Probably just a developmental thing.
pomelo / 5298 posts
@winniebee: DH gave me the push to do it tonight. Honestly I'm most scared of the morning. She will sit quietly in her bed sucking her pacifier until we are all ready to wake. We will see what time she's up tomorrow. She went down without a noise tonight. She doesn't use her pacifier at daycare so I know she can go without.
eggplant / 11861 posts
@winniebee: who knows .....I make excuses for her I know and always go to her and on bad nights put her in our bed so I know I don't help.. It's just soooo hard!
