With DD1 I had saved up vacation time and gave myself 3 weeks prior to her EDD to get settled. She had other plans and I went into labour on my first night off work.
With DD2 I gave myself a whole month and she didn't arrive until her due date... go figure!

I worked in the office the day before my planned c-section and did freelance work that night. This time I am a SAHM so I either get no rest or lots of rest, depending

With DD1 I worked up until the day I was induced.
With this one I will work until my scheduled c-section.

I worked 4 days following my due date! I was induced at 41+1 but luckily Labor Day weekend fell in between those dates so I had a few days off without wasting vacation time.

I took a month off ahead of time due to being unable to walk for a long time. My job involves a lot of walking. It was also December so we were on reduced hours so me leaving freed up hours for other people who wanted them.
I planned to work up until my due date and had I, I would have gone into labour at work.

I had a night induction with LO1, I worked that day, left a little early (about 3:00). For LO2, I had a scheduled c-section. It was originally scheduled for Monday but got bumped to Tuesday about 10 days before. I stayed with my plan of not working Monday and got a few last minute things done.

DD1 was born in the evening and I worked that morning. She came early at 38 weeks, 1 day. I went to my OB appointment around lunchtime and they told me I was having contractions and sent me to the hospital.

With LO1, I worked a full day, and then went into labor as I was going to sleep at 10:30 that night. He was born the next afternoon at 2:30.
With this LO, I'll stop work on Friday, and I'm going in for my RCS on Monday. So I'll have the weekend.
I'd rather have time with the baby after he's born than time before.

With dd1, no. I was put on modified bed rest at 21 weeks due to very high BP and my job wasn't able to accommodate me (makes sense, I managed a coffee shop/wine bar).
With dd2, yes, but I started working from home at 37 weeks. So, I worked from home for 1.5 weeks until she came at 38+6.

I worked till the last day, but after 38 weeks it was from home. We'd just had a hurricane blow through and transportation was a mess anyway... only people who lived really close went to the office.

Well, sort of. I planned to, but then was off work for New Year's Day (due date was 1/3) and my water broke late that night. So, technically I had a day off before she was born.

I will be working up until LO decides to arrive. Or, rather, if she's late, my last day will be July 2, since I'll be induced after that.

I worked until 41 weeks pregnant, which was through a Friday. I had planned to start my maternity leave then but I ended up getting induced the next Monday morning so I didn't actually have any workdays off.

I worked until 40+1 then had a 3 day weekend (Good Friday) and had him Easter. I wouldn't have gone back to work that following Monday even if he hadn't shown up!

I'm a teacher and have summers off. With my LO1, he was due at the end of August, so i had 2 months off!!! It was pretty sweet!
My LO2 is due in early January. I have a two week Christmas break, so if I go full term/ or 40 weeks, I'll have about 2 weeks off before s/he comes. If I go early, then, that will be another story.

With LO1, I worked until Friday and my scheduled c-section was the next Thursday (Monday was a holiday, so it was easier for my sub to start at the beginning of the week instead of just the last 2 days). This time, I'm due at the beginning of August, but I'm a teacher, so summer vacation starts when I'm 32 weeks!

With LO1 I was out 6 weeks before my EDD as mat leave here starts then. With LO2 I was out 10 weeks before EDD due to being put on bedrest.

Yes I planned to work until delivery. I have an office job and wasn't unbearably uncomfortable so it was no biggie.
DD - my water started leaking a teeny tiny bit mid day while at the office. delivered in the early hours the next monring.
DS - had my 38 week appointment and planned to work the afternoon but ended up delivering late afternoon

I went into labor a few days before my planned start of leave (my son was a week early.) With #2, I'm thinking about taking a week or two off ahead of my EDD, but I'm hesitant to use PTO before the birth, so we'll see...

I planned to but severe pre-e meant I was induced 3 weeks early. So I worked up until I gave birth but it was before my EDD.

I worked until 39 weeks because of my hour long commute.... this time I'm scheduled up to my EDD, so unless I'm induced I'll only work until 40 weeks.

That was the plan, and I was diagnosed with pre-eclampsia and induced two weeks early. However, I worked Thursday, and was admitted last Friday on my off day, so yes, I worked up until the day she was born!

My last day was two days before my EDD, baby had other plans and wanted out the next day! So technically I worked up until I gave birth.
