DH is leaving me for 2 weeks for work 
This is the first time we have gone more than a day seeing eachother since he moved here May 2011. I really hope my anxiety stays under control because I don't feel like calling my parents anytime soon.
I think I am going to rearrange all the furniture! I also have 3 quilts I am working on and I will be working my 2 jobs. I guess the best idea is to keep myself busy. What do you ladies do to distract yourselves when your husbands leave town?

I like to do all the things I love, but DH hates when we are apart. Spend too much on a huge salad from Whole Foods, watch lovely dovey movies, etc.
Also, can you invite friends over? Get a mani? Make some baked goods? Hope it goes well!

I do all my normal stuff. My husband leaves for weeks at a time for training and has been gone for numerous months before.
Not very exciting. But life goes on in the same way it did before! I may get to the gym a little more often...I do sleep better when I'm beat. I also get the house really clean. Without anyone to distract me and tempt me into watching tv, the place gets sparkly.

I use it as an opportunity to make as many social plans as possible 
Before I met DH I was out with different friends basically every night, and try to balance that now with time with him so don't go out more than once or twice a week. So when he goes away, I'm back to being out every night! That and yes, lots of sleep and LOTS of trashy TV I don't watch when he's around.

Mine is usually gone Mon-Thur every week. So after work I go to the gym, and then usually try and get all the cleaning and laundry done so we can enjoy each other over the weekends. Luckily lately he hasn't had to travel, been so nice. He left last Sat night and won't be home till late Sunday. So I am making plans with girlfriends, going to visit my parents, went shopping, going to do a deep cleaning this weekend. Just trying to keep myself busy and catch up on the DVR.

I try to be as social as possible! I make plans with other moms during the day, invite single friends over to stay with us at night. Sometimes I go home to visit my family.

I'm a military wife, so I totally understand!
I keep to my normal routine and take it as an opportunity to eat all the stuff I never do when he's around (because he'd eat it all before I got to it) and watch tons of chick movies and do whatever I want!

I go to the gym more and longer since I'm in no rush to get home, try to make more plans with friends, and yeah, watch terrible stupid things on TV. I also make the things he doesn't like to eat. But I still end up staying up too late.

I like to eat things my hubby doesn't like and catch up on my shows/movies that he's not a fan of. Plus, I enjoy just lounging around with no social obligations because he's a social butterfly and sometimes, I just want to be a bum bum at home after work.

mine left yesterday for a week.. i'm giving our office a makeover. I try to just pretend he's at work so i don't miss him too much. But i also like to eat all the food he hates!

Aww, that's no fun! I like to hang out with friends, watch Sex and the City, straighten up the house and eat junk food when I'm alone.

DH has been out of town beginning Fri night and won't be back till tomorrow night.
I catch up on all my girly TV, straighten up the house, and make whatever I want for dinner (AKA, I don't have to hear "Where's the meat?") Plus i've been busy at work so i go in a bit early and stay a bit late.
