....and how old is your LO?

The first few months it was easier than I thought. Yes there was the sleep deprivation, but nothing a little coffee in the morning couldn't cure. And yes we had some gas issues and some fussy times, but I didn't find the newborn stage so hard. Maybe because just when it got exhausting, it would be time for another nap! And if he got real fussy we would go for a car ride, a walk, or shopping, because as long as he was moving he would fall asleep.

It's the mobile, more vocal, more clingy stage that I'm finding challenging. DS is one and we went food shopping this morning. He was whiny cause he didn't want to sit in the cart so I kept handing him random things to distract him. Which of course he just had to put everything in his mouth while attempting to stand up in the shopping cart. I hightailed it to the baby food aisle and broke open a box of teething biscuits and handed him one (yes I bought the rest haha). He's never had this brand before so I wasn't sure what to expect. He stuffs the whole thing in his mouth and it's dissolving everywhere! All over his fingers, coming out of his mouth dripping onto this chin, and neck... And then he coughs and a piece of it spews out onto my shirt. Awesome. Also, totally forgot to bring any napkins with me lol
At least the good moments are more amazing than I could have ever imagined.
