Did you do this on LOs birthday? I took the day off work to be with her so it would be convenient to do her appt that day. But i dont want her in pain or feeling crappy from her shots on her birthday!! I am torn.

Her bday was on Saturday so the appointment was the day before. She felt fine after her shots!

We did it at 13 months because of doctor scheduling and our scheduling. We scheduled it for around his 2pm nap, so he could get home from the shots, sleep it off, play, dinner, and bedtime. It's been our best bet for appointments with him, always before naps.

We did it a couple of days before, and the shots weren't too bad, but there were four pokes. Our pediatrician said that reactions {temperature, etc.} could present about a week later, and sure enough...

They've never done LOs appts exactly on the month birthday, it's always been the week after.

His birthday was on a Thursday and he had his appointment the following Monday. Knowing how many shots he was going to get/bloodwork done I has no interest in doing it on his actual birthday.
