T is a great night sleeper. Solid 11 hours at night without waking Nap is more difficult, usually only 1.5 hours (sometimes 2). Schedule used to be bed from 7:30 or 8-6:30 or7, nap at 12:30 or 1.

Since daylight savings....gets up at 6 or earlier. Naps are horrible (last week 45 minutes A DAY). This week has cut night sleep to less than 10 hours. I've tried putting him down earlier. Leads to earlier waking. Today was up at 5:18 (bed at 7:25 last night). Nap from 12-1:45. Not. enough. sleep. Cranky, needy, toddler who wakes up hysterical from every nap. I considered 2 naps today but he is the type of kid who if he sleeps for 10 minutes in the car in the morning, won't take a nap at all.

Is this the 18 month regression? He'll be 18 months in a few days. Also his 4th molar is partway through. He's learning new words every day. Is it a mental leap? Does it even matter?

I don't know what to do. I feel like a failure.
