ughhh that sounds miserable! hmmmm...we haven't hit the 18 month regression yet, but I've been following your sleep woes with LMW. poor thing and poor parents!!!

have you ruled out ear infection/any sicknesses? do you think she is maybe ready to transition out of her crib into a toddler bed or twin bed?

I could have written this post right now...except I'm too busy figuring out WTH to do with DD. She woke at 4:45am crying, and we got her up at 5:20. She napped 8-11am (totally should have cut that short, but she goes NUTS when I wake her and I was chicken). Then she napped AGAIN from 3-4pm. Yeah, I messed it up. Now she has been crying for almost 70 minutes at bedtime. THIS SUCKS!

Following! The last couple days one of my 19 month old twins is waking up at around 4 and doesn't want to go back to bed. Yesterday I was up with him for a couple hours before he went back to sleep. He was up again this morning early and I didn't want him to wake his brother up so I went and got him after 10 mins and slept in our guest bed. He slept on & off for an hour and then was up! He's still up and full of beans.

@Mrs. Blue: It took us a couple of months. He still is kind of hit or miss. Most nights he sleeps through but a few times a week he wakes once.

@mrs. wagon: I had to resort to sleeping in the room with her for a good 3 weeks? After that, I started to sleep in the room with her until she fell asleep then I left. If she got up in the middle of the night, I'd go back in and sleep there. But keep leaving so she got used to the idea that I'm there for her but I sleep in mommy's room. She's a stubborn booger so it took a long time to break her out of the habit of me sleeping in there all night long ... but 3 weeks of going back and forth is so much better than sleeping in there permanently or dealing with crying hysterics in the middle of the night.
