I often think about taking an unpaid leave to pursue something (other career options, hobby, volunteer, school, etc.) just to see if anything out there interests me enough to change careers.
I love my job as a teacher, benefits are great, it's flexible, and family-friendly but I'm just wondering...

Work on my business that I do as a hobby now, try to make that work full time so I don't have to go back.

I have had time off of work, even before LO. Unfortunately I couldn't be very productive because I spent most of the time with a migraine..... but I would try to do something with art. Maybe start an etsy store.

If the money was there I would want to travel the world or volunteer at the local children's hospital to see if nursing really is my calling.
