Has anyone on here dealt with two LOs in cloth diapers? We've been cloth diapering E since he was a month old and it's never been a problem for us. We've loved it actually and never felt like it's a lot of extra work. It's definitely been worth the money that we've saved.
When I think about 2 under 1.5 years old in cloth diapers though I get a little scared.... I'd love to hear about any experiences with this!

Our twins are in cloth and I love it. I do laundry every day, mostly so I didn't have to buy *quite* as many diapers, and because with two kids, there's enough to be worth a wash each day. But we could go 2, the washer would just be FULL 
Don't be intimidated! I don't think it's really any harder with two.

@MerryC: I have the same question as stargal...how many diapers do you have? Also, what kind? We have Alva baby diapers (the cheap ones lol) for E and we've never had any problems with them but I'm not sure if they'll hold up as well with double the use. OH and what diaper bag do you have to hold everything? Sorry for the barrage of questions 
I usually do laundry twice or 3 times a week and we have 45 diapers.

@stargal: We have 4 flip daypacks...so 8 covers and 24 inserts for daytime at home. And 15 bumgenius pockets that we use for overnight or longer outings.
We could def get by with fewer bg, but kids were still going through a couple overnight when we bought our stash, and I like keeping 2 in the diaper bag at all times.

Yes, I did! Was planning to again when Cricket is born, but it looks like Tractor Girl may be potty trained before then, whoot, whoot! But what I found really helpful was using a one-size shell (like BG Flips) and being able to use them on both kiddos. I did have to do laundry just about every day, but that's because I was really cheap and only had 4 or 5 covers between the two of them.

@FarmWifeGina: That's really reassuring! The ones that we have are all one size covers and inserts so we'll definitely be able to use all of them for both. I do think that'll make it easier!

I have 2 in cloth right now! I have a lot of diapers...maybe 55 and I do laundry every two days. My younger one is wearing the AIO sizes now...she was wearing a combo of disposables and prefolds the first month.

@Running Elley: I have a bugaboo diaper bag, and its good for two, but pretty big. I keep it stocked in the car now, and just carry a medium sized purse with anything that couldn't wait til we got back to the car. I just used a backpack when they were tiny so I had max hands free, but it was more of a pain to get in and out of.

@autumnlove: I knew that E was in cloth but I didn't know you were using them for M too! I'm thinking about buying 10-15 more diapers...do you think you could get by comfortably with less than you have?

@Running Elley: I have way too many! E only has 4-6 dirty diapers a day so I think I could get by with 40? I don't think you should buy any new diapers yet!

@Running Elley: good lucky, lady! You could always do disposables that first month? That'll give you time to adjust to the workload of 2 kiddos. Plus, it'll give you time to stock up on diapers. You can always find good condition, used ones here on HB!

@TurtleDoves: That's what we're planning on! We used disposables with E for the first month since the CDs seemed SO big on him (which is crazy to think about now...since he's obviously not little anymore LOL),

I'm still debating, but I'll probably just play it by ear. Mine is going to be 2 1/2 when the baby comes. We have one size so we have to wait until the baby grows into them.... which for LO only took 2 weeks. And I have no idea when LO will decide she wants to potty train. If I think potty training is close I'm not going to buy more diapers. But in your case I'd invest in some more. I don't think it would be much more work then one in diapers, I'm just more worried about wasting money if LO is going to potty train.
