Ok, do any of your toddlers do this? DS is 26 months & goes through phases of this and he hasn't done it in awhile but now he's been doing it again and it's driving me crazy! It doesn't help that I'm 37 weeks pregnant so everything annoys me right now & also I'm sensitive to annoying noises in general.

I can only describe it as he's making noises with his mouth just to hear himself. It's worse in the afternoons when he's hyper, overtired, or just bored when I'm trying to do dishes or something else and he's running around the house. An example would be "lodilodiloli" and a lot of times he will look at me as he's doing it like he knows it annoys me. Or he will make up a word and think it's funny and keep repeating it. I think the repetitive noises are the absolute worst though, it drives me crazy.

Otherwise, his speech is great - he talks pretty clearly, regularly talks in 4-5 word sentences like "Mama push me, please" "there's a big red truck over there" etc. He asks and answers questions and has mini conversations with me. So I don't understand why he still does those babbling/annoying noises.

Anyway, anyone else experience anything like this? I'm slowly losing my mind. My husband laughs at it and it doesn't bother him when he does it, but he's also not home with him 24/7.
