I had already made my mind up that we're just going to get the 2012 UBV, but this comes with the Rumble seat AND the Piggy Back. I don't have #2 yet, but I will....
The 2012 has the ability to recline more, but I don't know how much of big deal that REALLY is...
What do you think? Get a deal or just get the 2012 and worry about the rumble seat/piggy back later when we have a second?

Is it a color you want? It seems like a great deal. Have you been able to find any of the 2012 at a significantly discounted price anywhere or were you thinking you'd pay retail? If that's the color you want & you were thinking you'd pay retail for it, then I'd say, go get the CL one. The differences don't seem huge other than the recline & the sun canopy being adjustable, and lots of ppl LO love their 2011.

@mrs. bird: Thank you! I really wanted Mica (silver) but black is fine with me. I just never "drove" a 2011 so I'm not sure. Miami is about 40 minutes away, so I'd hate to go there just to "drive" this CL one. As far as price goes, I can't find the 2012 discounted anywhere...We were just going to use the 10% registry discount at BBB to get it. But it will still be around $650 with no accessories.
I did read a rumor that you can try to use a 20% off coupon to Bed Bath and Beyond and go to a store and order a UBV, because they are available on the website.... It is excluded in fine print on the coupon, but recently I've read a ton of posts that say that because bed bath beyond is less familiar with strollers, they just scan the coupon and order it. So I was MAYBE going to try that today, and if it doesn't work, then I may call about this 2011.
I hope a few 2011 owners pipe up!

I got the 2011 on super sale about a month before the 2012 came out. I bought it at a small "mom & pop" baby shop so I actually had a long conversation with the shop owner about whether I should wait for the 2012. He said that he tried out the 2012 and aside from the extra position, he didn't see much difference and recommended I just go with the discounted 2011. Considering he could have easily made an extra $300 off me by saying I should get the 2012, I took his advice!

I purposely got the 2011 UBV over the 2012 because the seat sits slightly higher up than the 2012 one and I can most of the time just slide the stroller up to a table at restaurants and use it as a high chair. I don't think I would ever need recline the seat all the way down so the difference wasn't a big deal for me. I read that because of the reclining all the way down feature, they lowered the seat slightly on the 2012.

I just got the new 2012 Vista from Bed, Bath, & Beyond using the 20% off coupon. They didn't blink an eye when I handed them the coupon, even though it clearly excludes the Uppababy. You have to place an order for it at their desk and it ships to your house in about a week. The sucky thing is that you have to pay for taxes and shipping (they don't have an option to pick up in store for free) when a lot of websites sell the new ones without shipping or taxes. But it still came out to $600, so $100 less than retail. I can't wait to use mine!
