My LO is turning 3 in Feb (eek), and after a big first birthday party, we kept her second birthday to just a family dinner. Now that she's in preschool and has a few little school friends, I'm thinking about throwing her a 3rd birthday party.

I've narrowed it down to either (1) booking a princess performer or (2) renting a bounce house.

What do you think a group of 3 year olds would like more? With the princess performer, it seems pretty easy - all I have to do is book a performer, who will keep the kiddos entertained for 90 minutes. I think she does face painting, balloon twisting, etc. We could probably have the party at our house so no need to spend extra $$ to rent a venue.

Bounce house would also be fun, but we would have to rent a venue (we don't have a huge outdoor space, plus it's gonna be in Feb in the Pacific NW so it's most likely gonna be raining).

Guestlist - most likely will be approx. 10 kids, with about 3 boys and the rest girls. I'm wondering if the boys wouldn't be into the princess theme?
