I'm at a total loss. Our nanny has been with us for 3.5 months. She's wonderful and very talented with toddlers/preschoolers. She watches R (1) three days a week and also watches T when he gets home from school. She also does his drop off or pick up every day. I work from home.

This week T is home from school for holidays. He won't leave the house with her. Only wants to be with me. Cries if we suggest he go anywhere with her. I don't know what to do. Make him leave with her? I hate him sitting around the house all day. And I want him and R out of the house for some period every day.

I'm really concerned as the school we are starting him at in January can only have him 3 days. One whole day he will be with her. I need to figure out a way to deal with this issue so that he's not tantruming over leaving the house with her on that day. I don't want her to be in the position of having him freaking out on her while she is trying to juggle both kids.
