Did anyone experience the 4 month sleep regression as an earlier wake up? R is 16 weeks (but 17 according to due date) and has started waking up an hour earlier the past few days.

It's possible that's what I experienced, but I honestly didn't associate it with the 4 month sleep regression because it wasn't that bad!!
Xander did a couple weeks where he'd wake up around 4:00 instead of 5:00, but we were able to get him to fall back asleep. And that was the extent of it! After a few weeks, he went back to sleeping normally again!
But I'm not sure if that was the 4 month sleep regression or not! That was all the pain we experienced around 4 months, so maybe?? I hope the same is true for you!

Yep, right around 4 months A started waking up at 5 instead of 7. She's 5.5 months now and it hasn't changed.

We didn't have this issue. Our regression was night sleep was total crap.

oh yes, i remember those early wakeups we had. for a few weeks on an off we struggled with 5am wakeups, ugh! nothing really helped but time

Anna did that, would get up at 6 instead of 7 and just now at 6 months is starting to sleep til 7 again.

yep! we only had 2-3 nts of MOTN wakes during 4 month regression, however, we had 530am (vs 730) wakeups for a few wks. We just waited it out and he went back to his normal 11-12 hrs.

Thanks, everyone! R woke up at 3 AM screaming bloody murder but we managed to get her back asleep by 3:30. She's still asleep now at 6:40...knock on wood!
