LO will be 4 months old next week, and I’m started to dread putting LO down every night. LO naps really well, isn’t always on a set schedule, but I’m ok with that since she’s not a fussy baby and is pretty mellow.
Up until a week or so ago, our bedtime routine started around 7:30pm and I changed her diaper, put PJ’s on, rocked and nursed her to sleep. She would go down fairly well every night and only wake at 1:30am and 5am to eat and then wake up at 8am for the day.
We had a busy couple weekends when we were out with family late and her bedtime routine kind of went out the window for a few days. This is when her bedtimes became later and later, and more difficult to put her to sleep. I think she’s getting overtired since she’s up later, or could this be a form of the ‘4 month’ sleep regression? She’s waking about the same (maybe a little more on some nights) and sometimes around the 4/5am feeding she’s really awake and harder to get back down.
I’m a first time momma and I’m dreading bedtime every night. I’m going to try to get back to her 7:30pm bedtime/routine, but are there any tips/advice you seasoned momma’s have for me?
