Does anyone have a recommendation for a site/place to buy a 40's (WWII) style dress?

@MsLipGloss: @rahlyrah: Thanks ladies!
What do you think of these? It would be for a Halloween party but it would be nice to be able to wear after.

I think the marvelous maraschino dress you posted is perfect. This may sound weird, but when I clicked the link, I pictured Mae from A League of Their Own (Madonna's character) wearing that! The hepcat dress seems more 50s to me?

@littlebug: Yeah, I just wonder if it will look to matchy matchy with the colors since DH will be dressing up like Captain America (just typing that has me laughing out loud).

@MrsH: Out of those 3, I would probably opt for the cherries!

I love the 3rd one you linked...the story of citrus. But I don't think you could go wrong with any of them

http://www.pinupgirlclothing.com/ ! I bought a 40s style dress for DH's promotion ceremony from them last year. It's beautiful and really nice quality.
This is the one I bought http://www.pinupgirlclothing.com/ava-dress-black.html
