Over the past couple of days LO has been SO loud. Squealing and grunting. DH says he sounds like a baby dinosaur ha. He isn't having trouble pooping but is grunting soooo loud. Is this just him becoming more verbal ? Did your LO do this ?

This is Sadie ALL DAY. Especially at bath time. I think they're just exploring their voices!

LO still sometimes does this at 6 months. She sounds like a baby zombie sometimes

Yup. She loves making noises and it hasn't really stopped at 5 1/2 months. She squeaks, squawks, and blows raspberries at me.

Yes, she squeals LOUD. DH calls her a piglet.

@coacheswife123: YEAH... it was so cute the first time she did it -- I even sent a video to Dan & I was all, "Isn't this so cute?! Our baby is the best!" and by the next day I was like, "Dan! Will she ever shut up again?!" haha

OH YEAH! We called them pterodactyl calls. It was just being verbal I think. He babbles mostly now, but sometimes will still scream (he's 8 months).

My little nephew was the loudest grunter I'd ever heard. He growled all the time. It cracked me up whenever we would FaceTime with my SIL, you'd just hear little TomTom carrying on in the background. He's now moved on to more English sounding speech sounds in his babbling and has a couple of words.

I know this is a bit of an old thread, but I had to search this topic since K is SO LOUD these days! And right on the mark - 4.5 months! I guess it's normal. It was cute at first, but man can she go on and on!

Yes, Isaac grunts and growls all the time. It is so cute and funny!

Mine is also about 4.5 months and makes weird sounds all the time! I think she just likes hearing her own voice.
