We had our 4-month appointment this morning (even though he's closer to 4.5 months).

Evan is now 17lb 3oz (75th percentile) and 26.9" long (94th percentile) with a head circumference of 16.5" (47th percentile).

Big milestone this month was rolling from back to front (even though he still hasn't gone front to back). He's laughing and smiling a lot more and has started grasping his toys and bringing them to his mouth. His favorite toy ever is the Take Along Tunes music box. He has no interest in any other toy, but that one has been a god-send.

He's also cutting his two bottom teeth...we can see and feel them now. His pedi said the worst of the pain for him has probably passed--which is thrilling if true because with the exception of a few up every hour nights last week he's handled it very very well.

His night sleep has been great the past several nights...goes down easily and only wakes up once to nurse. Putting him to bed in his own crib in the nursery is on the agenda, but we'll wait until after the holidays/maybe until 6 months.

He handled his shots today really well. He definitely cried but calmed within a minute or two.

How's your LO doing?
